Usually, when we are traveling there are so many things we are looking forward to go, visit, explore, even take pictures of. From monuments to recreational places to hotels, everything is on the list of places to see. Sometimes we can sneak in to a house or two too, especially celebrity houses, they are a treat to look at especially with the anticipation of getting the glimpse of our favorite celebrity.

However, have you ever decided to take a walk somewhere and just fell in love with the street?  These beautiful streets are totally going to be a treat for your eyes.

1. Burano in Venice, Italy

Normally the idea of colorful houses put together doesn’t go down well with everybody, people even find it tacky, but that is not the case with this particular place, this is beauty at its best. This street has everything- colorful houses, a canal, and there’s a good chance all the beautiful Venice pictures that your friends uploaded on Instagram is of this particular street.

The best part about this is the fact that the houses being colorful has a practical aspect to it.

2. Jacaranda, Pretoria, South Africa

Also known as The Purple Paradise, Pretoria in South Africa is filled with thousands of purple trees. Drive along the streets or even go for a walk especially in the months of October and November when these flowers bloom and you will find the view breathtaking. It’s no less than a fairy tale. These natural purple beauties are definitely worth seeing in person. So you can always give someone a MakeMyTrip Gift Card from GrabOn and give them one of the best gifts in the world, a way to go check out this beauty.

3.Shambles, York, England

Have you ever wondered how it was in the olden times? It is a place that you should definitely put on your travel bucket list, if you did. This Medieval times beauty gets you awestruck with the exposed brick wall buildings on either side of the street. Some of these buildings even date way back to the 14th and the 15th century. This place is at the heart of York. The cobblestone lanes and the timber-framed buildings give a nice old-English world charm to it.

4. Hallstatt, Austria

It is situated on the Western shore of Austria’s Lake Hallstatt. The streets are a treat to watch especially when it snows. So if you are planning on going on a holiday, then I strongly recommend you to go to Austria and do put this particular place on your list. The view is to die for especially with the lake nearby, your evenings can be spent well. Here’s a fun fact: Hallstatt is  one of Austria’s oldest villages.

And if we are talking about beautiful streets there’s one place all the muggles will absolutely love. Yes, I am talking about the Diagon Alley in Universal Studios. Well, that’s the closest we can get to experience the mystical and the magical world of Harry Potter. So what are you waiting for? Take a leave and hop on to the next flight and check one of these beautiful places or  better, all of them.
