The falls are a popular location on weekends. To avoid crowds, head out on weekdays or get there before 10- most visitors are families and college students, so on early mornings, the trail should be pretty empty!

This is a perfect post-work hike! Take flashlights and hit the trail during the late afternoon for solitude and great photography opportunities on this great hike that is very busy in the day.

If you'll be here in the summer, be sure to bring plenty of water! The slot canyons offer some shelter, but the walk to and from them is brutal in 100 degree weather.

One of the best hikes in RMNP!

Start early and take your time on this 13 mile hike!
