Scenic Waterfront, Cliff Diving, and Rockclimbing Formations

Once reaching the Lake Spokane State Park parking lot on the south side of the Spokane River, follow the trail down towards the waterfront. 1 mile of gradual downhill will lead you to a fork in the trail. The left will take you towards restrooms and further hiking trails while the right will lead you in between to large rock formations. Follow until you reach the water front known as the Cove for locals of the Spokane area. There are plenty of cliffs to divert , a rope swing, and comfortable water to swim or float in during the summer.
