Climbing in Big Cottonwood Canyon (Dogwood)

Cottonwood Heights, Utah

Description

Added by Dana Tran

Great for beginnersDirectly next to a stream

The climb itself is around 50-80 feet tall (vertical steepness), with 3 anchors across the cliff to pull rope through. At the base of the cliff is a flattened, cleared landing area, with a stream just a couple feet below (off to the left side). There is a path that goes up and around to the top of the cliff where the anchors lie.
