The Bonneville Shoreline Trail is a series of trails along the slope of the Wasatch Mountains that follows the old shoreline of Lake Bonneville. Trail paths vary from single track to wide boulder fields and are good for all levels of hikers. Thanks to snowshoe traffic, Shoreline is a great place to trail run all winter.
Beginning in Pleasant View you can set across all 23 miles, but you will have to cross a roads on a few occasions. The first 6-8 miles are relatively flat, the largest climbs in the middle and then leveling out. The opposite trail head is found at I-84 at Fernwood Park. Trail access points are found along the Wasatch Front, and are great entry points to other trail networks.
