Description

Added by Jaryn Lute

The Cape Falcon Trail is a great trail for anytime of year. The trail winds through the dense coastal forest, crosses a small stream, and gives way to a great view over the ocean on a grassy hill. A great place to watch for whales during whale season.

Cape Falcon starts out along Highway 101 just south of Cannon Beach. The trail zigzags through the forest to a grassy hill. The trail is an out and back with a total of 5 miles. There is little elevation gain around 300ft, and can get muddy in spots during winter.
