Great spot for a day hike! 6.6 Mile trail out and back, with a 880' elevation gain. Large area to explore and enjoy what Colorado has to offer!
About 880 foot elevation gain throughout the hike. 6.6 Miles out and back. The hike is along the North Ten Mile creek for just about the whole time. There are some great spots along the way to set up camp for a little bit and hang out. About a mile and a half in you'll come across a pretty cool area where the river opens up and you can walk around it (careful, water is pretty cold!) So far I've gone on this trail three or four times, and still seems to come along some new spots! Great spots to camp as well. Had a fire right along the river one day which was pretty nice:)
Getting there: If you're coming East or west off of I-70 take exit 203 onto Frisco Main St. and the entrance to the trail head is right when you get off. If you're coming from the south just hop onto Frisco Main St. and take it all the way towards the onramp and the entrance will be straight ahead. If the parking is full, there is a day lot right at the beginning of main street.
