Jimmie Ray's background covers most areas of Media and Entertainment; born and raised in the
shadows of the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, then Arkansas, Tennessee, California,
Oregon & Texas; spending years with the railroad; years as a corporate executive; being a
published novelist – Mittie’s Song - a story of one woman’s courage; Jimmie's diversified
background shines through in his writing, music and performance – audiences know he has been
there. He has lead several groups over the years; Folk, Rockabilly, Gospel, Bluegrass, American
Roots. He spent five years in the 70's touring 25 states, with over 1,000 appearances. Jimmie in so
many ways relates with Johnny Cash; this Tribute was created purely from his heart.
Cyndi Cantrell: A California girl with family roots in Louisiana, being a PK (preachers kid), Cyndi was
raised on Old Style Country and Country Gospel Music. In there shows, duo to full band, Cyndi cam
perform as June Carter, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and her favorite, Minnie Pearl. Working with their
various groups over the years has seen Cyndi stage presents grow to that of a seasoned entertainer.
Cyndi also plays harmonica. She especially enjoys their duets - from Johnny & June to their original
music. In addition to being known for her costume changes, Cyndi has an unbelievable sense of
humor, timing, unreal character voices and loves bantering with Jimmie on stage. She loves to see
people laugh.

"Our show is only as good as our band; our bands are the greatest!"

Greg Smith - Lead Guitar & Vocals
|
Tom Flagg - Multi-instrumentalist
|

|
|
Greg plays guitar and sings harmony for ALL the groups: The Vegas Two, Ring of Fire, Johnny Cash Unplugged and The Outbound. Born and raised in the Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon area, Greg has been playing since the age of eleven. He has played lead, bass and vocals for countless bands over the years; with experience in virtually every genre. Greg toured the East Coast for years with Pure Magic. He has also performed with Jeff Lorber, and was a member of the popular NW band, The Spirit Lake Band - who toured with Ray Brothers (Collin Ray). Greg's ear and love for the genre of Johnny Cash shines. Greg is NOT just a GREAT musician but a true entertainer. Greg has enjoyed decades of performance and loves it as much today as ever.

In addition to being the stand-up bassist for The Vegas Two, Tom plays mando for their unplugged shows and guitar, mando, trumpet, sub-bass with Ring of Fire and The Outbound; utilizing his vocal talents with all groups. He does Willie too. Originally from Western New York, Tom has lived and played music in Southern Nevada since 1978 with several award-winning bluegrass and acoustic music bands over the years. In addition to playing with Jimmie Ray, Tom is also a member of The Yucca Mountain Boys (bass), Stuck in Reverse (mandolin and guitar), and the acoustic trio Stewart, Flagg and Rhee. He has recorded three well-received CDs of bluegrass and acoustic fusion music with Junior Hot Cell and the Yucca Mountain Boys, and performed on trumpet and contra bass with the Las Vegas and Henderson civic symphonies. He also performs Western music as a cowboy singer/guitarist. Tom has a great love a traditional American music, including the work of classic country artists like the Sons of the Pioneers, Merle Haggard, and especially Johnny Cash.
